Back for another taste of non-updating blogging

Right.. so for some weird reason, i decided to start blogging.. again.. more for linking up artworks and keep myself motivated i guess.. was thinking of doing a deviantart journal instead.. but meh.. don’t really enjoy their clustered layout.. although i do like the huge community of artists.. so it’ll still be a place where i spy and put up some decent-half-assed artworks..

Niwaes.. whats been happening.. hmm.. this year was a big change career wise i guess.. moving from a post-production house as a 3D artist/generalist to a full blown 3D animator at a local animation house. And i have learned so much in the 4 months i have been animating.. Lots more to learn in the hopes of becoming a better animator..

Still love other aspects of 3D though.. modeling. texturing etc.. which is why i would probably continue to do some more personal models etc.. joining Dominance War IV to help with that, turned out quite badly.. should have stuck with what i was more comfortable and motivated to do more.. humanoid character based works.. instead of mechanical stuffs.. niwaes thats that and moving on..

Can’t wait for the big changes in Blender 2.5 but for now still waiting for 2.49 official release.. the release candidate is out.. mainly for testing bugs etc.. a few changes.. like more nodes implementation etc.. which is cool as its getting more and more like XSI which i really love to use..

Speaking of Blender, really gotta get back to working on learning it fully, Basically still left with rigging and animation aspects of the software to learn..

Also i have been doing more or trying to do more drawings and paintings.. to break free from 3D and really learn the foundations which i never really got the chance to learn fully.. Niwaes will update this site (probably not) with some purrtty pictures or something of that nature..
