3DMagix; an expensive clone of Blender

Was reading this article at blendernation and i can safely say this is some fucked up shit i am looking at right here: 3D Magix

Looking at their pathetic site you can see tonnes of works, some not even done in Blender, by other artists being used as promo clips for this ridiculously overpriced software. Which is selling at $47 more than it should.. which is nothing.. Hopefully they will realise the hopelessness of their pathetic scheme and shutdown their site.

Its not that i am surprised that people will eventually try to profit off open source softwares.. but not in this way.. this is just plain copying.. and false advertising to make matters worse.. I wonder whose pictures they used for the testimonials.. poor souls..

Can you sell Blender?
It is legal to rebrand GNU GPL software, but you cannot rebrand artwork, credit claims or copyrighted material.

So basically what they did other than rebrand Blender was to claim credit to everything done by everyone else as done by 3D magix.. which is of course bullshit.. lol
